 The Safe Day Calculator is based off the Ogino method, a dated/inaccurate method to plan/prevent pregnancy. The text in-game was translated as is (within memory limitations), so while the game says it is accurate, this was what was believed at the time, and is not true. Do not use this tool in real life.

Historical Context:

This is sometimes referred to as the first Japanese eroge, but this is untrue (that game is Hudson Soft's Yakyuuken). It is still one of the earliest Japanese eroge, and probably the first major one. It is Koei's first eroge. It was marketed as a tool to help with couples' sex lives. Released April 1982.
